Description

6-Keto-prostaglandin F_1α (6-keto PGF_1α) is the non-enzymatic hydrolysis product of prostacyclin (PGI₂), and has therefore been used to measure the production of PGI₂. Multiple tautomers of 6-Keto-prostaglandin F_1å exist - at least one keto-form and two lactol-forms. Research has suggested that 6-Keto-prostaglandin F_1å might counteract the action of prostacyclin.
