Description

8-Hydroxy-DPAT HBr is a SR-1A agonist with high affinity for SR-1A and SR-7 subtypes. It has been shown in experiments to inhibit both nicotine and GABA-evoked release of dopamine. When treated with ethanol in vitro, 8-Hydroxy-DPAT HBr displayed the ability to enhance phase advances of the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) circadian clock.
