Description

4-Trifluoroacetamidoaniline reacts with reducing oligosaccharides in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride to yield aminoalditol derivatives. This is useful for linking to proteins or solid matrices. Using this treatment, reducing oligosaccharides were easily separated by HPLC.
