Description

5-trans Prostaglandin F_2α is the more thermodynamically stable C-5 olefin isomer of PGF_2α and is a common impurity in commercial lots of PGF2α. It has been shown to cause a ten-fold increase in respiratory rate in rabbits, similar to many F-series compounds and analogs.
