Description
Titanium(IV) oxide, rutile is a naturally occurring oxide of titanium, with the chemical formula TiO2. It is also known as titanium dioxide, it exists in 3 different chemical structures in nature (rutile, anatase, and brookite). Rutile is the most thermodynamically stable form of the 3 different structures found in nature.
