Description

Tetraundecyl benzophenone-3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxylate, also reported as ETH 2041, is a plasticizer compound used in the design of ion-selective electrodes and microdevices. Tetraundecyl benzophenone-3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxylate has been described to be particularly useful in the design of devices selective for K⁺ with Valinomycin used as the ionophore, and has been reported in the development of electrodes selective for Cl^- based on mercury organic compounds as neutral carriers.
