Description

Sulfo-NONOate disodium salt is the disodium salt of N-nitrosohydroxylamine-N-sulfonic acid, decomposing in aqueous solution to release nitrous oxide (N₂O) with a half-life of ~32 min (22-25°C for diammonium salt). As Sulfo-NONOate disodium salt releases N₂O without releasing NO, it is useful as a negative control for studies employing the NO release from NONOates.
