Description

Spironolactone is a competitive MCR (mineralocorticoid receptor) antagonist that exhibits antihypertensive activity in vivo. Also displays antiandrogen activity and inhibits steroid hormone biosynthesis. Spironolactone is an inhibitor of AR.
