Safety & Transport Information
Flammable when exposed to heat or flame. May ignite and explode on contact with water. Reacts violently with tetrahydrofuran when heated. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Na2O. See also ALUMINUM COMPOUNDS and HYDRIDES.
