Description

Reinecke salt is a reagent used for quantitative studies, including titrimetric, gravimetric, and spechtometric assays. Promazine studies show that promazine and Reinecke salt form an ion associated compound, which helps determine the concentration of promazine. Additionally, Reinecke salt has also been shown to determine the concentration of Dimenhydrinate using a spectrophotometric procedure. Other studies use Reinecke salt as a chemical actinometer to calculate the photodegradation of Manidipine (sc-211774).
