Description

Polymyxin B Sulfate is a mixture of Polymyxin B₁ and Polymyxin B₂ Sulfate, obtained from Bacillus polymyxia strains. Polymyxin B inhibits gram-negative organisms in vitro and is also reported to inhibit Ca²⁺ dependent PKC (protein kinase C).
