Description

L-NIL dihydrochloride is a selective inhibitor of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS, NOS2; IC₅₀ = 3.3 μM) over neuronal NOS (nNOS, NOS1; IC₅₀ = 92 μM), as observed in mice (NOS2) and rat (NOS1) studies.
