Description

N-Methyl-1H-imidazole-4-ethanamine dihydrochloride is a potent histamine receptor agonist, especially at Histamine H₃ receptors (potency relative to histamine is 81, 185, and 270% at Histamine H₁, Histamine H₂ and Histamine H₃ respectively). Displays agonist properties at Histamine H₄ receptors to which it binds with moderate affinity (K_i = 23 nM).
