Description

3-Methoxy-2-cyclopenten-1-one is a very diverse reagent for synthesis. It can be used to synthesize 3-cyclopentyl-2-cyclopenten-1-one. It is a useful chemical to synthesize 3-alkyl-2-aryl-2-cyclopenten-1-one oxime derivatives and kjellmanianone which is a known antibiotic. From this chemical you can create 3-aryl enones.
