Description

Maprotiline Hydrochloride is an inhibitor of norepinephrine reuptake. It acts primarily by potentiation of central adrenergic (AR) synapses by blocking reuptake of norepinephrine at nerve endings. Maprotiline Hydrochloride has also been shown to block apoptosis of spiny neurons and inhibit SLC6A2.
