Description

J-8 hydrochloride is a highly selective CaM (calmodulin ) antagonist that inhibits Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent PDE (phosphodiesterase). It shows selectivity over Ca²⁺/CaM-dependent enzymes compared with Ca²⁺-dependent but CaM-independent enzymes, e.g. protein kinase C (PKC) and transglutaminase.
