Description

Dihydrosphingosine-1-phosphate, D-erythro is a saturated analog of sphingosine-1-phosphate. Dihydrosphingosine-1-phosphate, D-erythro also induces chemotaxis in HUVECs1. May be used as a negative control for intracellular effects of S1P2. Dihydrosphingosine-1-phosphate, D-erythro is rapidly dephosphorylated by a sphingosine phosphatase in cultured human fibroblasts3. Ligand for S1P (EDG) receptors.
