Description

Cyclothiazide potently inhibits the desensitization of AMPA receptors. Cyclothiazide acts as a positive allosteric modulator of AMPA receptors that potently inhibit AMPA receptor desensitization. AMPA is a transmembrane glutamate receptor composed of the subunits GluR-1,2,3,4. Cyclothiazide is an inhibitor of GABA Receptor.
