Description
Bufuralol hydrochloride a benzofuran derivative, has been shown to act as a β-Adrenergic blocker with peripheral vasodilating activity. This activity has been shown to yield antianginal and antihypertensive effects. Metabolic studies have shown that this compound is metabolized with diastereomer selectivity in the formation of 1"-OH-Bufuralol between CYP2D6 and CYP2C19.
