Description

Bis(tri-tert-butylphosphine)palladium(0) is a catalyst used in the reductive carbonylation of aryl iodides and bromides at 60-120 °C and 3 bar CO pressure providing high yields of the corresponding aldehydes. Trialkylsilanes served as the hydride source.
