Description
R-(+)-Baclofen hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt preparation of the 3-(p-chlorophenyl)-4-aminobutanoic acid R-(+) enantiomer, an derivative of GABA and a selective agonist of the GABAB receptor. The R-(+)-Baclofen isomer is described to be 4.2-9.2-fold as effective as the S-(-) isomer.
