Description

DL-2-Amino-4-phosphonobutanoic acid (AP4) is a broad spectrum EAA ligand and amino-acid derivative. An NMDA agonist/antagonist reported to block cone signals in the rat retina. DL-2-Amino-4-phosphonobutanoic acid (AP4) is also known to be a synaptic depressant. See separate isomers.
