Description
A cysteine-glycine dipeptide was synthesized by SPOC using Fmoc chemistry with the cysteine residue protected as (4R)-1,3-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (Thz). After removal of the Fmoc group Thz was converted into free cysteine by reaction with aqueous 0.8M methoxylamine (MeONH2). Reference: Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2006; 45: 3283 -3287.
