Description

N-Acryloyl-1-pyrenebutylamine is a fluorescent derivatization agent used for introducing the pyrene structure onto compounds. The pyrene fluorophore is derivatized with an alkyl-acrylamide side-chain for functionalization onto polymers and materials. N-alkyl derivatives of this N-Acryloyl-1-pyrenebutylamine compound have been described in the design of amphiphilic materials.
